Mr. Ron Diner, President of Raymond James Tax Credit Funds, Inc., and Scott Simone, Vice President and Director of Acquisitions toured Middle Village on October 13, 1999.

The pair were accompanied by Housing Director, John Seignemartin, Jim Horton, GIS Coordinator, and Kim Menominee, Director of Community Development.

Raymond James Tax Credit Funds, Inc. is a national sponsor of tax credit investments with 18 funds that have provided equity for over 600 properties nationwide. Investors include 6,500 individuals as well as major U. S. corporations. Raymond James Tax Credit Funds, Inc. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Raymond James Financial, Inc. (NYSE-RJF).

Earlier this year, Raymond James formed the Raymond James Indian Country Tax Credit Fund, a $25 million equity fund dedicated to investment in affordable housing on Indian reservations throughout the United States. Developments receiving investments through the fund are coordinated by David W. Bland, president of St. Paul, MN-based Travois, a housing consulting company that specializes in tax credit financed housing in Indian Country. This fund invests exclusively in developments sponsored by tribally designated housing entities or Indian tribes.

Through the new fund, Raymond James has identified and is currently in the process of closing investments in 13 Indian Country tax credit developments comprised of 263 housing units located on Indian reservations in seven states.
