Menominee Tribal Social Services acknowledges the Menominee People and Culture are our most valuable resource. We envision a strong society that is achieved through healthy lifestyles and relationships with all of our "relatives" and community institutions. In doing so, we will ensure the future stability, health, growth and security of the Tribe and it's families.
 
Department Overview
Menominee Tribal Social Services came into existence in 1976 following the passage of the Menominee Restoration Act and establishment of various departments to provide services to tribal members.

Services that Menominee Tribal Social Services provides:
  1. Oversight of the Child Support Department.
  2. Indian Child Welfare Act.
  3. Counseling Services to Children and Families.
  4. Enrollment Assistance to Adult Adoptess.
  5. Adult Paternity.
  6. Kinship Care Services.
  7. Respite Day Care.
  8. Coordination of the Community Child Protection Team.
  9. Administration of the Individual Indian Money Accounts Program.
  10. Administration of the Per Capita Funds for Minors and Legal Incompetents.
  11. Administration of Emergency/Catastrophic Program.
  12. Adoption Recruitment.
