This is a program that provides support and treatment to youth who have AODA and other mental health needs. Youth referred into the program are at-risk of becoming involved with the juvenile justice system or already involved in the justice system. The Youth Treatment Program offers screening, assessment and referral which is provided by a core staff which includes an adolescent AODA counselor, adolescent social worker, and clinical social worker. Individual and group counseling will be given to assist the youth with their identified needs, as well as any needed family counseling. Other program components include participation in the ROPES course (to build self esteem), aftercare groups, and in-home visits.
