To be eligible for FDPIR, households must meet the income eligibility guidelines and have resources within asset limits. Households are certified for periods of one to 12 months, depending on the stability of the household’s circumstances. Households cannot receive Food Stamps and Food Distribution during the same month. Income eligibility is based on Food Stamp Program net monthly income limits and the food stamp deduction used for the contiguous United States. Net monthly income is figured using your gross monthly income and deducting the 20% Food Distribution earned income deduction.
