Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (FDPIR) provides monthly food packages to low-income Native Americans living on or near reservations.

FDPIR is an alternative to the Food Stamp Program. The program is administered at the Federal level by USDA's Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) in cooperation with Indian Tribal Organizations (ITO's) and Geographical State agencies (SA). USDA provides food to the agencies, which are responsible for program operations such as storage and distribution, eligibility certification, and nutrition education.

Distribution days are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Delivery service
Delivery service is provided on Monday’s and Friday’s to the elderly and disabled. If a household has a vehicle they are expected to pick-up their food items. If a household has special circumstances they must call Food Distribution to request delivery service.

Pick-up
When a household is certified and found eligible, an adult person from the household or his/her designee may pick-up the food package. A current food list is available for a household member to select their food preferences. Pick-ups are the first three Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays of the month. Distribution times are 8:30 to 11:45 and 1:00 to 3:45.
