Food items
The Food Distribution Program provides a variety of nutritious food items such as canned and fresh fruit and vegetables, dried fruit, canned juice, canned soups, dehydrated potatoes, dried beans, dry roasted nuts, peanut butter, frozen chicken and ground beef, egg mix, pasta, rice, hot and cold cereals, cornmeal, flour, flour mix, dry and canned milk, syrup, cheese, crackers, butter, oil, and shortening, spaghetti sauce. We usually have one or two bonus items each year; such as bison, trail mix, frozen ham, salmon, and cranberry sauce or whatever may be in surplus.

Recipes and nutrition information
If you need recipes or nutrition information on any of the food items just ask the clerk and he/she will see that someone helps you. You may request help with recipe preparation, and cooking terms. Contact the Food Distribution Program and request the help you need.

Food waste
If your household does not use or like a particular food item we request that you do not take it and then throw it away. Please do not waste food.
