It is a well-known fact that a better trained employee is a more productive and possibly even a happier employee. When trained properly, employees are more confident in the use of computers and the programs that they are expected to use on a daily basis. They will know how to effectively complete tasks on the computer to assist them in the day to day functions of the job from minor file saving and retrievals to complicated spreadsheets.

For this reason, a small classroom was created in the reception area or the MIS Department. The very first class was held on April 8, 1997. At this time, the classroom consisted of 6 computers, which were put together by the Technicians from extra parts in the office.

As of October, 1999, the MIS classroom was moved to a larger area that allowed for two additional classroom computers.
