The MIS Help Desk is staffed between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. We are currently
using a telephone menu option system. If you are calling in a service call or computer-
related problem, you need to dial 799-5117 x1210.
The initial call for help is received by a Technician, the call is then logged and if
possible resolved over the phone. If the problem can not be taken care of over the
phone and the call is not an emergency, a Technician will visit that site according
to schedule. If the call is an emergency, (systems/file server are completely down or
unable to print and only have one printer in your department, or backup is on hold
from the previous day), the call will be marked "Immediate" and a Technician will be
sent out to the site. If the call is a request for Internet, new user login, or new
computer or equipment purchases a memo must be sent to the MIS Department for processing.
