Work with Menominee County to develop a Joint Tribal/County Emergency Response Planning Commission, and Emergency Government to assure proper response to emergency situations. Complete pre-disaster mitigation planning. Work with other tribes, countries, states in bio-terrorism Response, planning maintain and operate Neopit Dam to prevent flooding.

Continue services provided to residents of the Menominee Reservation, including technical assistance in sewage disposal, indoor air pollution, recreational sites, vector control, epistemology, industrial hygiene, etc. Evaluate NEPA compliance and reviews for IHS, BIA, MTE and Tribal construction projects.

Surface Water
Perform lake and stream studies for fisheries and other planning, monitor water quality to maintain water quality in optimum condition. Habitat restoration, including wild rice reintroduction and sturgeon activities. Perform study to determine mercury and PCB levels in fish on the Reservation. Issue permits for surface water projects. Work with other Tribal Departments and USFWS in re-establishing lake Sturgeon populations to historical range in the Wolf River on the Reservation. Conduct wetlands inventory and assessment.
