Scope
The Internal Auditor has the authority to determine the scope and timing of his/her work and has unrestricted access to all Tribal and chartered organization's activities, records, property, and personnel. Chartered organizations will include Gaming Corporation, Supermarket, College of the Menominee Nation, Menominee Tribal Housing, Authority, Conservation Commission, Gaming Commission, Utility Commission, and Enrollment Office. This office should also be notified of all Federal or State audit activities and receive a copy of their audit reports. |

Reporting Structure
The Internal Auditor will report to the Tribal Chairman and Executive Committee to provide the independence necessary to perform his/her duties without interference. |

Responsibilities
The Internal Auditor shall be directly responsible for the administration of the Internal Audit function for the Menominee Indian Tribe of Wisconsin. He/She will develop an annual audit plan, audit programs as necessary, conduct and/or supervise the audits, and provide written audit reports with recommendations for improvements and/or changes in operating policies and controls. |
