We therefore envisions a healthy society in which all fundamental needs such as food, shelter, safety, and security are met, and each individual is valued as an integral part of the community.

Natural Resources: The Menominee people enjoy an environment as pristine as our ancestors’. Therefore, in accordance with ancestral responsibility, natural and inherent rights, its constitution and by-laws as well as treaties, we will conserve and protect, including but not limited to the land, minerals, air, water, wildlife, forest resources, and surface and subsurface rights. We will develop and execute a comprehensive natural resource plan for land and resources within the ancestral territory. In addition, we will develop and enforce environmental quality standards consistent with Menominee values.

Culture: The Menominee culture defined our past, permeates our present, and guides our future. To assure continuity and the unique identity of the Menominee people, we will revive, revitalize, and infuse Menominee language and culture in all aspects of community life. We will continue to support and strengthen the Cultural Resource Management Plan and the Language and Culture Code.

Education: The quality of our future depends upon the wisdom of our elders, formal education, and life-long learning. We will assure that there are sufficient human, financial, and physical resources to support quality education for Menominee members.

Health: Our growth as a strong nation is dependent upon healthy members. We will strive to ensure that every Menominee has access to affordable health coverage and the opportunity for quality comprehensive healthcare. We will provide sufficient resources to assure wellness and healthy lifestyles to enhance and improve the overall quality of life and well-being.
